Station 4 was toned for a four vehicle MVA located in the 400 block of Main Street. Upon arrival Squad 4 and Rescue 4 crews found there were no injuries and no entrapment. A delivery van had had side swiped one vehicle and struck another in the rear causing it to strike another parked vehicle.

Around 22:30 hours the chief was on his back deck and smelled smoke in the area. After patrolling the neighborhood for the source of the smoke, he found what appeared to be a small fire on the deck of a single family dwelling.

Quick response from Station’s 4 & 8 save garage. At 00:30 hours Station 4 and 8 were toned for a possible structure fir at 1608 Alleghany Street which was called in by a passerby. Upon arrival Engine-4 found a small fire burning on the exterior of side A of a single story detached garage.

Station 4 was toned for mutual aid for a residential structure with entrapment in Wellsburg. Tower-4 responded to the scene and Engine-4 and Rescue-4 responded to set up an LZ for the occupant of the residence.

Units on station had herd a loud bang, upon investigation they found a single vehicle which had struck a light pole and utility pole in front of the station. The driver exited the vehicle on his own power.

Station 4 was toned for a reported structure fire located at 1518 Main Street. Upon arrival E-4’s crew found a pre-owned car dealership with heavy smoke coming from the vehicle maintenance area. E-4’s crew made entry into the garage area with a 1-3/4” pre-connect from E-4.

Station 4 was toned at 22:21 for a passenger van on fire in the east bound lane of US 22. E-4 and S-4 arrived on scene and found a van fully involved. E-4 and S-4 crews pulled a 1-3/4” line from E-4 and extinguished the fire.
